Milwaukee Bucks 2007 NBA first round draft choice Yi Jianlian had a rough night in his first ever preseason game October 9th, 2007 against the Chicago Bulls at LaCrosse, Wisconsin. In his NBA debut, he had 3 points, no rebounds and 6 fouls in 15 minutes. I was at this game and anxiously waited to see Yi get in the game. So I got out my camera and caught the exclusive video for you! Here is his introduction into the game just before the first quarter ends. Hopefully we can expect great things from Yi in the future! So be patient BUCKS fans, Yi Jianlian will give his all to help the Bucks to the playoffs. Thanks to everyone for watching!

The last time the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks met, it was just four games into the NBA season, the Bucks came out on the winning side of a blowout, and Toronto star Chris Bosh was held to a single point. Friday night, that game was a distant memory, as Bosh poured in 32 points and the Raptors pounded Milwaukee 106-75, in a telling display of just how far they've come. ``That was early in the season, that was a different me, it was a different team back then,'' Bosh said afterwards. The Raptors have also finally figured out how to turn homecourt in their favour, with Friday's win marking their fifth straight triumph at the Air Canada Centre. ``That was the topic of discussion in the first half of the season, we weren't really taking advantage of our home court and we need to do that now,'' Bosh said. ``We just have to defend our home court because we're playing pretty good on the road right now so we just have to keep it going.'' Carlos Delfino added 18 points for the Raptors (24-19), who won for the seventh time in nine games overall. Jose Calderon finished with 11 points and 12 assists. Andrea Bargnani and Anthony Parker _ on a perfect six-for-six shooting _ finished with 13 points apiece, as the Raptors won five straight at home for the first time since March 21-April 15 of last season. The Raptors were coming off arguably their biggest win of the season, edging the league-leading Celtics 114-112 in Boston on Wednesday. They rode the momentum into Friday's game, and survived some sloppy play in the early going, finally breaking the game open with a 19-0 run _ their longest of the season _ in the third quarter. Calderon drained a three with 0.9 seconds on the clock for good measure to send the Raptors into the fourth up 79-53. ``When you only give up three field goals in a quarter, you are going to win a lot of basketball games,'' Raptors coach Sam Mitchell said. ``We felt like we did not play well in the first half and we wanted to come in in the third quarter and be a little more aggressive.'' The Raptors stretched their lead to 28 points just three minutes into the final quarter, and then Bosh and Calderon took a seat for the rest of the game. ``Every now and then it's nice to have a game like that where you can get guys out and they can kind of relax,'' Mitchell said. With Toronto's second unit on the floor for much of the fourth, the Raptors stretched their lead to 30 points on a pair of free throws by Kris Humphries with two minutes left as the Raptors cruised to victory. Michael Redd and former Raptor Charlie Villanueva had 12 points each to top the Bucks (17-27), who were playing their fourth game in five nights. The last time the two teams played, on Nov. 6, the Bucks routed the Raptors 112-85 in Milwaukee. Bosh had just a point, and the Raptors started combined for a woeful 28 points. The Raptors had 71 points between them Friday. Bosh has been rounding into form over the past few weeks, and put in another fine performance Friday, shooting 12-for-19 from the field and a perfect 8-for-8 from the free-throw line in an economical 35 minutes. Bosh said he didn't gain extra motivation from the previous loss to the Bucks. ``I don't get too hard on myself, I just put that stuff behind me,'' Bosh said. ``I just wanted to play my game, I didn't want to get too caught up in that because I would have been forcing stuff and shooting bad shots.'' Calderon doled out more assists than the entire Bucks team combined, as the Raptors' ball movement played a major factor in the win. The Raptors had 23 assists to Milwaukee's 11. Calderon's strong game may have helped his cause in the guard's bid to be named a reserve for the NBA all-star team. If not, the Spaniard's not sweating it. ``It's not my call,'' Calderon said. ``For me to be close (to making the all-star team) is really good, but it's up to the coaches. If I'm going, it's going to be a dream.'' The Raptors had another strong shooting night _ 51 per cent _ while holding the Bucks to 42. They also outrebounded the Bucks 42-36. Bosh led the way with 10 points in the first, and the Raptors shot a decent 47 per cent in the quarter to lead 23-20 heading into the second. Delfino connected on three shots from beyond the arc in the second quarter, his three with 1:31 left stretching Toronto's lead to six points. The Raptors led by eight before a three by Royal Ivey with 28 seconds on the clock cut Toronto's lead to 47-42 at the break. The Raptors raced out on their 19-0 run early in the third, a turnaround jumper by Bosh putting Toronto up 76-51. Calderon's three with less than a second left put Toronto up by 26 to end the third. NOTES: The Raptors visit Washington on Tuesday in the first game of a back-to-back series against the Wizards. They'll host the Wizards on Wednesday. . . NFL Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas was at the game.

A night after the Philadelphia 76ers had a disheartening loss, Allen Iverson made sure it wouldn't happen again by playing one of the best games of his stellar career. Iverson scored a season-high 54 points, including his 15,000th career point, and the Sixers won for the fourth time in five games, earning a 116-97 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night. "I called his play as many times as I possibly could, and it makes my job a lot easier," Philadelphia coach Jim O'Brien said. It was the seventh time in Iverson's nine-year career that he had scored at least 50 points in a regular-season game, and he has done it three times in the playoffs. His career-high is 58 points against Houston in an overtime game on Jan. 15, 2002, and the 54 points tied his second-highest scoring total in a regular-season game. The Bucks tried several different defenders against the five-time All-Star, but none could slow him. He made 17 of 29 shots and 16 of 21 free throws, grabbing eight rebounds before exiting with 2:34 left and the Sixers leading 106-87. Iverson said he did not mind sitting out the final minutes of a blowout victory instead of attempting to set a career high. "Honestly, and I can't be any truer than this, all I wanted was for the Milwaukee Bucks to be down one point once there were all zeroes on the board," he said. The Sixers blew a 19-point, fourth-quarter lead in an overtime loss to New York on Friday night. They opened an 18-point, third-quarter lead against Milwaukee, but watched as the Bucks pulled within 64-63 on Michael Redd's 3-pointer with 4:44 left in the quarter. Philadelphia, though, went on a 9-0 run to open a 10-point lead and the Bucks came no closer than seven points the rest of the game, and no closer than nine in the fourth quarter. "We're starting to get some things, and four out of five (games won) is a good indicator," O'Brien said. Milwaukee, decimated by injuries, has gone 3-14 since starting the season 3-1. "The biggest thing for us was we struggled offensively and we are just really limited as to what we can run because of all the new guys," Milwaukee coach Terry Porter said. Redd scored 29 points for the Bucks, who have four players on the injured list and also are playing without the injured Keith Van Horn. Milwaukee missed 58 of 88 shots, shooting a season-low 34 percent. Andre Iguodala scored 18 points and Corliss Williamson added 15 for Philadelphia. Iverson is the seventh active player and 93rd in NBA history to score 15,000 points. He scored 33 first-half points, making 12 of 17 shots and six of seven free throws. His 17-foot jump shot with 6:19 left in the second quarter gave him 15,001 points. After the game, Iverson credited all of his NBA coaches and teammates for the milestone. "It made me feel good about the people who have surrounded me and have helped me during my ups and downs in my career," he said. Iverson had 12 field goals in the first half to Milwaukee's nine. The Bucks missed 25 of 34 shots in the first half, with their starters missing 17 of 20. Game notes After Iverson exited the game in the closing minutes, he gave his shoes to young boys wearing Sixers jerseys in the stands. ... The other six active players with 15,000 points are Reggie Miller, Shaquille O'Neal, Gary Payton, Clifford Robinson, Kevin Willis and Latrell Sprewell. ... A night after scoring a season-high 26 points, Kenny Thomas did not dress for the 76ers due to a mid back strain. He was injured in pregame warmups. Williamson made his second start of the season in Thomas' place. ... Bucks forward Desmond Mason was ejected with 2:57 left in the third quarter for arguing calls. ... Milwaukee signed guard Eddie House before the game. ... Sixers guard John Salmons did not dress due to bronchitis.

In just his second ever NBA game, Michael Jordan put on a classic "air" show. Filled with spectacular blocks, dunks and reverse hanging lay-ups, Jordan showed signs of things to come. There is a very rare alley oop dunk in the second half of this game and maybe Jordan's best ever fast break dunk -- a rock the cradle two-hand slam from just inside the foul line. Unbelievable... Thanks to schea for uploading this game on M2.

A classic MJ masterpiece. Jordan in his prime was beyond electric. The Bucks were in town and the Bulls were battling them for the 5th seed so this was a must win game with a playoff atmosphere. Enter Michael Jordan. Playing a cool game through quarters 1-3, MJ took over in the 4th with 26 points in a blur for a comeback win at the buzzer. Going for 50pts while shooting a typical 16-26 for 62%, MJ also took in 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals for another stunning, all-around game with a miraculous ending. His usual array of creative drives opened up his mid-range game which then opened up his driving game - as if he needed that. When the chips were down, MJ's mythical presence once again cast its giant shadow. There is no 6th or 7th gear like Mike's. A most amazing stat was that MJ was shooting 55% for the year this deep into the season for 7th place in the NBA in FG% while scoring 34.2 ppg. And no, that's not a typo.

A classic MJ masterpiece. Jordan in his prime was beyond electric. The Bucks were in town and the Bulls were battling them for the 5th seed so this was a must win game with a playoff atmosphere. Here is some nice footage from a meeting between the Milwaukee Bucks and New Orleans Jazz on February 26th 1978. Unfortunately these clips are all that exist at the moment as this was bonus footage shown during various parts of the Chicago Bulls/Portland Trail Blazers game. This one turned out to be an overtime thriller with Milwaukee winning 122-120 behind 37 points from Brian Winters. This was the second of three overtime games in a row the Bucks would win in a five day period. If anyone has any Bucks footage from 1975-83 please contact me either via PM here or at brian_winters_fan_32@yahoo.com

MILWAUKEE, Nov. 6 (AP) -- The Milwaukee Bucks didn't seem to miss their coach very much Tuesday night. Actually, they didn't miss much of anything. Even Desmond Mason's unorthodox jump hook shots were falling on a scalding shooting night for the Bucks, who shot 60.3 percent from the field in a runaway 112-85 victory over the Toronto Raptors. Mason finished 10-for-10 and had 21 points. "I got fouled on two of them and still made them,'' said Mason, who returned to Milwaukee as a free agent in the offseason. "Those were some lucky ones.'' The Bucks' offensive outburst came despite the absence of coach Larry Krystkowiak, who went to the hospital after his wife, Jan, went into labor with twins Tuesday afternoon. Krystkowiak, in his first full year as the Bucks' head coach after replacing Terry Stotts in the middle of last season, was there for the birth of healthy twin daughters at 7:42 p.m. By then, the Bucks had the game under control. "He got twins and a 30-point win,'' Bucks guard Mo Williams said. "What else can you ask for?'' Bucks assistant Tony Brown coached the team in Krystkowiak's absence, presiding over a steady stream of scoring that started early and never really let up. On defense, the Bucks held Toronto star Chris Bosh to one point and the Raptors' starting five to a total of 28. Bosh, who nursed a nagging left knee injury through the preseason, wasn't willing to chalk his struggles up to conditioning. "I am healthy enough to play basketball,'' Bosh said. "If I'm on the court, there is no excuse. I just have to keep playing.'' A team official offered Bosh a stat sheet after the game, but Bosh said he didn't need it. Raptors coach Sam Mitchell wasn't willing to nitpick Bosh's play. "I am not going to talk about an individual guy,'' Mitchell said. "It was a whole team effort, not just one guy.'' Juan Dixon led the Raptors with 20 points on a night that, combined with an overtime loss to Boston on Sunday, added up to a significant letdown from their 106-69 victory over New Jersey last Friday. "I told our guys we proved two things: We're good enough to win by 30, but we're also good enough to lose by 30,'' Mitchell said. "We have got to come out ready to play. Hopefully it was just one of those nights.'' For a while, it looked like the Bucks were going to have their best shooting night in more than two decades. Milwaukee was shooting over 65 percent with 5 minutes left in the game, but got sloppy at the end. Milwaukee hasn't shot 65 percent or higher for a game since a victory over Sacramento on Dec. 15, 1985. With Bosh limited to 10 minutes in the first half after committing two early fouls, the Bucks took their first double-figure lead with a 14-0 run late in the first quarter. Milwaukee led 59-39 after a three-point play by Andrew Bogut with 2:36 left in the second quarter. Toronto then went on a 9-2 run to close within 13, but Williams hit a jumper at the horn to give the Bucks a 63-48 lead. Milwaukee shot 67.5 from the field in the first half, including 76.2 percent in the first quarter. Bosh's only point came on a free throw with 5:22 left in the second quarter. He playing sparingly in the second half. Milwaukee went on a 17-3 run in the third quarter that included six points by Bucks rookie Yi Jianlian and was capped by Mason's 10th straight field goal attempt without a miss. Mitchell wished his team's defense had made life a little harder on Mason, but admitted that some of the shots were spectacular. "Some of the shots he hit - the fadeaway, one-handed jump shot, hook shot - you have got to give him credit,'' Mitchell said. Michael Redd added 17 points for the Bucks, while Williams scored 13, Yi and Bogut both had 12 and Bobby Simmons added 11. Bogut had 11 rebounds. Notes: Milwaukee G Charlie Bell bruised his right quadriceps in the second quarter but was able to return. ... The Raptors became the first team in NBA history to hit at least one 3-pointer in 700 straight games. They set the NBA record when the streak reached 595 in 2006. ... Vin Baker holds the Bucks' franchise record with a 13-for-13 shooting game in 1997. ... In a text message to the Bucks' PR staff, Krystkowiak said his wife and daughters were doing well after her delivery.
